Dennis “The Menace” Siver
First off, I am hesitant to put Dennis Siver on here considering he just came off a suspension for PED’s. That being said he did look to be very much improved this weekend. All aspects of his ground game looked upgraded. He kept position before submission. When he locked in an arm triangle and knew it wasn’t tight enough he let it go and didn’t blow out his arms. He defended all of Rosa’s submission attempts and had some amazing scrambles in those ground exchanges. His striking is his bread and butter and looked as crisp and solid as ever. He was not being predictable, mixing shots to the body and head fluidly . It was nice to see him not try to spam that spinning back heel kick. Instead he landed just one, but it was perfect, and it connected when it mattered most. If he keeps on this path of slow and steady improvement he may be ready for a top 5 by the end of next year.
