12 Top MMA Fighters Who Lost Their Debuts

Renan Barao

Few fighters can boast to have had a winning streak like that of Renan Barao. The UFC Interim Bantamweight Champion has gone on a streak that has spanned over eight years and thirty fights, and it doesn’t look like it will end anytime soon.

Things didn’t look so great for the Nova Uniao fighter in April 2005 when he made his MMA debut against Joao Paulo Rodrigues de Souza though, losing via unanimous decision.

A month later he earned his first win though and his debut loss remains the only blemish on his MMA record so far in what’s been an impeccable MMA career since. RenanBarao605x240
