Glover Teixeira
Teixeira may be one of the UFC light-heavyweight division’s top talents, but his debut didn’t exactly go according to plan back in 2002 as he lost out by TKO at WEC 3.
He rebounded with a win over Matt Horwich though and eventually would go on to amass a world class 20-fight winning streak which at the time of writing includes a five-fight unbeaten stretch in the UFC.
He’s just been officially confirmed as light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones’ next title challenger so he definitely made the right decision not to hang up his gloves after that first defeat!
