One of the top middleweights in MMA, Jacare has seen success in the top MMA organisations, including Dream, Strikeforce and the UFC.
Things did not get off to a rosy start for the Brazilian, however, having lost his MMA debut via KO against Jorge Patino back in September 2003.
It was only a small glitch on what has been a top notch MMA career for Jacare though, winning his next 10 fights and eventually going on to hold and defend the Strikeforce Middleweight championship before earning a spot in the UFC where he’s currently making a big impression.
