Floyd Mayweather Managed Makhmud Muradov Signs For UFC

Floyd Mayweather recently welcomed his first ever MMA fighter onto the Mayweather Promotions roster and now he’s gone on to sign for the UFC.

Mayweather had declared Muradov to be “the best MMA fighter in the world,” when he signed him to his fight team, and now he’ll get a chance to prove it when he steps in on short notice against Alessio Di Chirico at UFC Fight night 160 in Denmark on September 28th.

“Alhamdulillah for everything that the Almighty gives me,” Muradov wrote on Instagram. “Today I signed a contract with the strongest organization in the world @ufc I would like to thank my team of brothers for the work done @ adrian1mma @lusenbakos @first_mma_management Together we make the story of Alhamdulillah. I am the first Uzbek in the UFC. Thank you all very much for your support for your faith in me In Sha Allah together we go for another victory,”

Muradov holds an overall 22-6 career record, but the 29-year-old middleweight is currently on an 11-fight winning streak that includes nine stoppages via either KO or TKO.
