Prelims:

Ilir Latifi defeats Cyrille Diabate by submission (guillotine choke) at 3.02mins of Rd1

Latifi swooped in for an early takedown here and soon after sinked in a tight guillotine attempt. Diabate tried to break out of it, but the stocky Latifi had him in a vice-like grip and wasn’t letting go, pressing him up against the cage and forcing the tap mid-way through the round.

Luke Barnatt defeats Mats Nilsson by TKO at 4.24mins of Rd1

Fun striking battle here. Nilsson came out aggressively against his taller opponent and had some success, but Barnatt seemed comfortable and started to work his rangey strikes to keep him at bay. Nilsson started to wear the damage on his face, but was still trying his best to get inside on Barnatt. Then, late in the round Barnatt waded forward and landed a left head kick through Nilsson’s guard that seemed to hurt him. He took a few steps back and Barnatt eagerly came forward, getting him up against the cage and unleashing a flurry of punches, then capped it off with a powerful knee which almost wasn’t necessary as Nilsson was already en-route to the canvas.

Claudio Henrique da Silva defeats Bradley Scott by unanimous decision (29-28 x3)

Bit of a scrappy fight here with both men looking gassed by the second round, while a few eye-pokes also hurt the flow of the action. In the first and third round’s it was Silva’s superior grappling that was the difference between them, though Scott did put up a spirited showing in the stand-up department in the second stanza, catching his tired-looking opponent with some hard shots, but ultimately not being able to finish him.

Igor Araujo defeats Danny Mitchell by unanimous decision (30-27 x3)

Araujo was able to control this fight with large spells of control on the mat that Mitchell couldn’t find an answer to. The third round was where the best action took place as Araujo threatened with a tight looking triangle choke and then transitioned to an omaplata, but Mitchell got out of it and countered with an ankle lock. He couldn’t finish it, so the two men then started to trade hammerfists while lying on their backs which raises a big cheer from the crowd, but nothing’s landing to hard and the fight headed to the scorecards.

Louis Gaudinot defeats Phil Harris by submission (guillotine choke) at 1.13mins of Rd1

Gaudinot gets the quick finish here as he seizes a guillotine choke early and then hops up onto Harris with it. Harris tries to roll out, but that ends with Gaudinot now in full mount with the choke still attached which forces the tap out.
