Rampage Jackson Weighs In At Career-High 253lbs For King Mo Rematch

Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson caught everyone off-guard yesterday when he tipped the scales at a whopping 253lbs for his heavyweight rematch with Muhammed ‘King Mo’ Lawal at Bellator 175.

That’s far more than we’ve ever seen the former UFC and PRIDE star weigh before and means that there will be no less than a 41lb weight difference between ‘Rampage’ and ‘King Mo’, who barely pushed past the light-heavyweight limit when he came in at 214lbs.

Coming in this heavy will surely lead to questions as to how seriously the 38-year-old has taken his training for this fight, particularly as he revealed earlier this week that his team had misled him into thinking it was supposed to be a 235lb catchweight bout.

‘King Mo’ will surely now be looking to drag this fight into deep waters to test ‘Rampage’s’ cardio, but he’ll have be very wary of his opponent’s punching power.
