UFC Heading To Singapore And Macau In Early 2014

The UFC are planning to make further in-roads into the Asian market in 2014, with Singapore being the next country that’s set to host an event.

the promotion have targeted early next year for their Singaporean debut which will be held at the Marina Bay Sands.

ONE FC are based in Singapore and have successfully held events their in the past so this won’t be the countries first taste of major live MMA action.

Meanwhile, the UFC will head back to the Venetian in Macau, a special administrive region of China, in March of 2014.

The show will host the finals of ‘The Ultimate Fighter: China’ show which begins airing in November.

While China is a region that’s still relatively new to mixed martial arts competition, the UFC are hopeful that it’s going to be a big market for them in the future and see a Chinese edition of TUF as the perfect platform to generate interest within the country.
